Just had a very very expensive quote for veneers, bridges and crown lengthening in London.
What do people think of going to somewhere like Hungry to get the work done cheaper?
Still the 10-15K saved could go a long way to resolve any after care issues!
Yes cosmetic dentistry is costly. gooing elswhere may be cheaper, but the work may not be as good. if there are problems later is good tohave your doc nearby
You can do whatever you want. Go where ever you please to get it done.
Just imagine this in your mind:
Some time has gone by, 3-6 months, and the work you had done in Hungary, well somethings not right. Either some porcelain chiped or you think there’s no contact in between your crowns and food is getting stuck in there. Regardless, you then come to see a dentist in London because flying to Hungary to get a check up is ridiculous. So you’re in London and you’re hoping the dentist can save it. Well most of us aren’t going to do that. We’re not going to twidle and fiddle around with a crown made by another dentist because all the problems gets transferred to us. So the dentist in London will say, "You need a new crown."
Most dentists live by this motto: "Don’t touch other people’s work."
I’ll stand by my work. I’ll replace other people’s work if there’s an issue with it.
