can anyone help me with cosmetic dentistry in england?

so i used to have really nice straight teeth. but about 6 months ago i broke a tooth near the front during an ice skating performance. i had a bridge put in and i was very happy with it. but now all my teeth are crossed at the front and when i had tooth ache i went to an emergency dentist and she told me that my dentist did a bad job of the bridge and now i need a filling another front tooth.

they’re all uneven and different colours so i want veneers and a new bridge. but i was wondering if anyone could recommend a good comsmetic dentist anywhere in england and how much would it cost for a bridge and 3 veneers does anyone know?

Gosh. I’m in a similar situation to yours but much worse. I went to a private dentist for a while and it cost a bomb but they did a good job. I cant remember what they are called but their number is 01344 867144 and they do interest free credit payment plans. Good luck I know how you feel.

Just had an incredibly expensive qoute for cosmetic dentistry!?

Just had a very very expensive quote for veneers, bridges and crown lengthening in London.

What do people think of going to somewhere like Hungry to get the work done cheaper?
Still the 10-15K saved could go a long way to resolve any after care issues!

Yes cosmetic dentistry is costly. gooing elswhere may be cheaper, but the work may not be as good. if there are problems later is good tohave your doc nearby

Dentistry side Which is good for missing teeth? fixed bridge or Implant?

Fixed Bridge treatment is best for tooth missing or implants? Pls anybody who have dental bridges and implant can suggest, pls

Depending on how many teeth you have missing a bridge is a good option….BUT, if the teeth that are to hold the bridge in place are compromised (ie. damaged or loose) a bridge is not too feasable, unless a dentist advises you that he can repair them well enough that you can expect a good 10 years of worth out of it. Implants on the otherhand have a very good longevity, provided you do not smoke and also care for your teeth & gums as prescribed by the dentist…..meaning brushing 2-3 times a day and flossing each day…good luck

What care in all disciplines of dentistry are these?

What do they mean?

√ Preventative
√ Special Needs
√ Endodontics
√ Restorative
√ Crown and Bridge
√ Oral Surgery
√ Periodontics
√ Hospital Dentistry and Sedation in future

√ Preventative
-Preventative means "preventing cavities, periodontal disease, BEFORE they happen." Treatments include: cleanings, fluoride, sealants, etc.
√ Special Needs
-usually referring to treatment of mentally handicapped, or physical disabled patient care. Some systemic conditions can have an effect on dental treatment (ie: diabetes, downs syndrome, etc) either behavior management concerns or dental related issues.
√ Endodontics
-root canal therapy
√ Restorative
What most people call a filling..in dental terms a filling is a "restoration of damaged tooth structure".
√ Crown and Bridge
When teeth are so badly damaged that a filling just isn’t going to cut it anymore Crowns and bridges are the next step.
√ Oral Surgery
this is a very broad range of treatments from extracting teeth, reshaping jaw bones (alveoplasty), implants, biopsy, etc.
√ Periodontics
Periodontal disease is when the supporting structures around the teeth are deteriorating (ie: the bone in your jaw deteriorates, teeth get wiggly, and fall out). Treatments include: scaling and root planing, gum surgery, implants)
√ Hospital Dentistry and Sedation in future
For people that have lots of work to do which is very invasive, general anesthesia and a long appointment may be the most efficient way to go.
