I’ve done some research but am having trouble distinguishing the difference between "Zoom" and "Laser". I just want the whitest teeth possible in as short a time possible. Also, I live in San Diego right by the border of Mexico and was thinking about going out there to save some money?

I started using hydrogen peroxide to whiten my teeth. Is that safe to use as long as I dont swallow any?

Anybody there who has done this esthetic dentistry, quick laser teeth whitening.How safe is it,can it cause any harm and does it increase cavities???Its kinda new here in Japan but can I trust it?tell me about your experiences in usa or europe,if possible

I’ve been watching classic movies for the past several days, and it seems that all of the movie stars had straight, white teeth. I know this was before cosmetic dentistry, whitening, fluoride in drinking water, and so on, so…
Were they all wearing dentures? If not, which stars did have dentures and which ones did not?

Two populars techniques used to give an adult straight, white teeth quickly are capping/crowning and veneering.

In capping or crowning, an adult’s individual teeth are shaved down to a degree to allow a "crown" to fit over them, quickly creating a set of perfectly shaped and aligned teeth. This technique is also used when a tooth is damaged yet the root is still alive and viable.

Porcelain veneers are simpler and cheaper and are basically "facades" attached to the front of a tooth.

Those two techniques were used to give may of yesterday’s stars and models their "perfect" teeth.

Today, orthodontic braces are much more commonplace in children and in adults. The two techniques mentioned above are still employed when braces aren’t an option due to condition of the teeth, cost or "ability" of the individual to give the 12-24 months needed for an orthodontic solution.

I need a lot of work done on my teeth, around 4 fillings, filed down so they are reasonably straight and I could do with getting them whitened. I have awful teeth from smoking and drinking coffee which ive stopped doing now but its taken its toll on my teeth.

Ive recently been made redundant and im now on benefits. How much can I get done for free before I have to start paying?
