Can you rehape and whiten all of your teeth with dental bonding?
Instead of getting veneers, can you just get all of your teeth bonded and rehshaped and whitened? would it look good?
With bonding it is possible to reshape and brighten the color of your teeth. However, bonding does not last a lifetime and it is difficult to tell how long it will last, it depends on how your teeth come together and what your habits are. (Veneers don’t last forever either) with veneers or bonding you are making a long term commitment.
You should have your dentist take a look and see what they recommend, if you already have bonding on some of your teeth, they won’t whiten w/ bleaching, so you would want to have those replaced anyways.
Dental Bonding
Bonding is a composite resin filling placed in the back teeth as well as the front teeth. Composites are the solution for restoring decayed teeth, making cosmetic improvements and even changing the color of your teeth or the reshaping of teeth. Bonding will lighten any stains you may have, close up minor gaps and can be used to correct crooked teeth. Basically, bonding will cover any natural flaws applying a thin coating of a plastic material on the front surface of your teeth. After this, Dr. Champagne will apply a bonding material and sculpt, color and shape it to provide a pleasing result. A high-intensity light then hardens the plastic, and the surface is finely polished.

Will a teeth whitening kit damage bonding on front teeth?
I’m getting my two front teeth bonded in two weeks, but I whiten my teeth every few weeks and want to keep them white after the bonding. I know that the whitening bleach doesn’t stick to bonding so I’m going to whiten before I get it done. But When I need to redo my teeth is it is ok to put the bleach on the bonding or can it be damaged. I want to keep my white teeth but I don’t want my front teeth to be a different shade than my others. Help!
The dentist will match the color to the existing shade of your teeth. You can still bleach after this is done, but the bleach wont work on the bonding so if the bonded teeth have any color change due to food and drinks, they will stay that color.

How much is the estimated cost of tooth bonding of a small gap in my two front teeth?
I have about a 1mm-2mm gap in my front teeth thats barely noticable to anyone else, but to me it just annoys me for some reason, so I want to get it bonded… how much should that run me? I was told to try the normal dentists first because the cosmetic dentists would jack the price up a ton to do the same thing… is that true?
1mm – 2mm would be 500 dollars???
I have a question about teeth bonding. Will the dentist try to get other procedures done to you?
I have a wisdom tooth that needs to be pulled and need a crown on another tooth. Would the dentist recommend those be done first before the teeth bonding or can i get the teeth bonding done without getting those done first?
Depends on the dentist. Just ask him.
How much would it cost to fill in a gap between my two front teeth using the bonding procedure?
I wanted to know because I have a moderate sized gap between my front teeth but I didn’t want braces. Could I get my two front teeth bonded even if I have cavities in my teeth at the back on the bottom row?
I was going to do this 9 years ago and it was going to cost 120 dollars. But then my guy friends said I shouldn’t because they thought it was sexy…like Madonna. So I figured, why pay 120 dollars to remove sexiness?
