The U.S. doesn't do ...
The U.S. doesn't do the best dental work, they also have issues with lawsuits and so forth and have issues with quality care as well. Obviously american dentist are just that american citizens are going to Mexico for care. I've seen the prices for dental work here in the U.S., you can buy a new car for some of these prices! It's ridiculous. I'm looking into getting my mom's dental work done in Mexico.

Replacing missing ...
Replacing missing teeth can now be done without cutting the teeth, "preparing" them as noted in this video, which means making them into stubs or removing the enamel, mostly.
YouTube "Carlson Bridge" and see the difference.

You will be glad you did!

I would shop around first in the UK. There are a lot of Polish dentists in the UK who are now offering much cheaper implants than ever before. This has only just started happening over the past year or so. I've seen pricing at 500 UK pounds per implant.

Dental prices are actually coming down for once after years of rip-off - probably because of the Polish dentists in the UK. Although you can have a cheaper operation abroad, once you factor in the cost of hotels, travel, and in your case multiple visits to another country, you won't be much further ahead for all the risk. Implants can go wrong. Sometimes they just don't take properly. You also will need two or three visits so the implants can set and heal before they insert the crowns.

I found a web site that actually compares the cost of a UK implant with going to Budapest in Hungary.
http://www.smartahealth.com/off_shore.html

If you do choose to get implants abroad, make sure they insert implants from a reputable manufacturer such as Noble biocare or Astratek. Many eastern european countries use non - standard screws and appliances. Anything goes wrong and you are - pardon the pun - screwed. Of course, once you specify a standard appliance the price goes up, because the dentist needs to buy the materials from a european or US manfacturer.

Failing that, go back to your original dentist and be totally upfront and ask if you can be available a short notice for cancellations etc. and work with them on the price.
References :
Personal experience and http://www.smartahealth.com/off_shore.html

You do need to look around and get a couple of quotes and options on what is available to you. Your own dentist may not be the best first call for information and ideas as cosmetic knowledge does vary from dentist to dentist.

You also need to look at the way dentures and plates have altered over the years and just how lightweight and well fitting they are now if made privately. You wear then twenty four hours a day now and no longer soak them overnight in a glass beside the bed!

You could also possibly with a good dentist have your bridge replaced with the teeth part fitting more into the gum line.
I recently had a very old crown replaced to fit further into the gum area.

You will also probably need to wear a plate/denture if you go through what you are looking at above as despite the televisions suggesting it is a very quick process implants placed correctly are given a healing time before the dentures are placed in situe.

I have crowns and five implants and currently also have a plate/denture in place whilst waiting for a area to recover to get another implant in. I am really very surprised at how good this new plate/denture is and how well it fits and matches and given that it is in full frontal view you really would not know it was.

Addition: It is possible to get double tooth implants as well and it is possible to have the cover replaced at a later date to cover gum issues at a cost.
Talk to a specialist implant dentist as well as your own.
References :
I don't think so. My best friend lost all her enamel on every one of her teeth and she isn't getting veneers. Her dentist is doing something fake enamel on hers but it takes a long time because each tooth is something like $600. Her gave her a prescription toothpaste to use to help protect her other teeth until she have all of them done. She is also using Sensodyne Pronamel toothpaste and ACT Restoring Mouthwash which you can buy anywhere. Both help protect tooth enamel. Her doctor told her that her enamel loss was probably due to drinking too much soda and sweet tea. She is a sweet tea addict. When I was little I lost some enamel on my teeth because I drank a lot of fruit juice and the citric acid and sugar wore off the enamel.
References :
Though there is lot of expectations from a professional teeth whitening procedure, there is no one single whitening system which has proved to be effective for all cases.

A dentist and your needs together is the best judge for it.

So it is always preferable that you choose a best dentist and allow him to decide on which tooth whitening system would work best on you rather than yourself choosing a whitening system.

The results too vary depending on the present state of your teeth.

Those with Darker shades tend to get better results. Also the relapse of the teeth whitening varies from person to person.

While choosing dentists you should keep the following things in mind:

- The experience of the dentist in this field
- Number of teeth whitening treatments performed
- Number of teeth whitening methods available
- Testimonials and results of previous patients

once you zero in on a good dentist, allow him to takeover and decide as to what is best for you.

Also do go through the source link for more information on teeth whitening.
References :
http://www.teethwhiteningreviews.com/artman/publish/which-teeth-whitening-system-is-best.php

If you are looking for an orthodontist, I would recommend mine. I believe he may be gay, but he's a great orthodontist all the same.
