Can teeth bonding work for 5mm front teeth gap?

Would you recommend bonding to close a 5 mm front teeth gap? I know braces are better, but can’t afford them right now, till about a year, and I want to get rid of this gap in the meanwhile. Would a bonding procedure work for a gap that size, or even close it a lil? Or is there another way to close this gap that’s else pricey?…besides braces and bonding? Any advantages or disadvantages? I also have that piece of skin (the frenum) in the middle of the gap.

it is the low attachment of the frenum that caused the gap. bonding to reduce the gap will do nicely. i would not recommend totally closing a gap as big as that through bonding or veneers because those teeth will look abnormally large.

the ideal thing to do is surgically alter the attachment of the frenum before braces are done. since its just a year before you can afford braces, why not wait. time passes by quickly and before you know it a year has passed. why not put aside the several hundred dollars budget for bonding to fund the cost of braces later on?
